JV to pursue global waste-to-fuels market

Global Clean Energy Inc. (GCEI; Houston, TX) and Full Circle Renewables LLC (Fresno, CA) have formed a joint venture to produce alternative fuel products from waste. The joint venture will draw upon Full Circle’s anaerobic digestion technology, its funding support, and its existing methane off-take agreements to develop multiple production sites in North America. GCEI will control the facilities, contracting project engineering management services to its technology partners and to global engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors. GCEI and Full Circle will also consider additional projects at these sites, including projects involving the conversion of waste plastics to fuels. “The symmetry to which this JV works benefits both companies as each provides the missing pieces to successfully complete GCEI’s waste-to-fuels projects under development in North America,” said Steven Mann, GCEI’s chief development officer.
