The Environmental Industry Summit (EIS) Series is a set of business conferences produced and hosted annually by Environmental Business International Inc.
For 2020 our in-person conferences moved to a virtual format of shorter duration but increased frequency. The five annual events scheduled originally for 2020 are listed below. Each of these events was transitioned to an online virtual event as part of EBI’s monthly broadcast series throughout 2020.
Plans for 2021 are continued monthly broadcasts including at least 9 EBJ and CCBJ edition webinars, regional Environmental Industry Summits covering markets in New England, the Gulf Coast and the Pacific Northwest.
Environmental Industry Summit XIX is scheduled as an in-person event in Coronado, California on September 22-24, with remote live access available for attendees for a majority of the sessions.
The annual EBJ and CCBJ Business Achievement Awards presentation ceremony will be held in virtual online format on February 11th and 12th, 2021, (March 12 for CCBJ Awards) free to the entire environmental industry community with tuxedoed hosts, celebrity presenters and at least one industry-themed musical number.
Participants are invited to register for each online event or the entire series.

EBI’s flagship event, in its 19th year in 2021, is the Environmental Industry Summit and Executive Awards in San Diego. In 2020 the Environmental Industry Summit XVIII was postponed from its usual mid-March dates and held online September 9-11, 2020. Environmental Industry Summit Series became part of EBJ Webinar Series in 2020 listed on the list of EBI Broadcasts on the Webinar page. The expectation is for resumption of in-person events in 2021 starting with Environmental Industry Summit XIX on September 22-24, 2021
EBI’s online and in-person events allow participants to gain and share perspective on issues of mutual business interest with industry experts, analysts, advisors, and fellow environmental industry executives.
The Environmental Industry Summit community also engages in discussions of mutual interest at each event and debates positions or objectives on behalf of the environmental industry.
