The Environmental Industry Summit (EIS) Series is a set of business conferences produced and hosted annually by Environmental Business International Inc.
EBI’s signature event in San Diego is held in San Diego county on Coronado Island in late March or early April, typically on a Wednesday-Friday schedule and with the annual EBJ & CCBJ Business Achievement Awards banquet on Thursday evening.
Regional events include Toronto in May, Seattle in September, and Boston in December.
EBI continues monthly webcasts on the 3rd Friday of every month.
Environmental Industry Summit XXIV was in Coronado, California on April 1-3, 2026 in San Diego, and returns to Coronado in 2027 as EIS XXV on March 30-April 1, 2027. The Summit is a full multi-day program and the annual EBJ and CCBJ Business Achievement Awards ceremony. (2025 BAA Awards awards posted on this website, and nominations for 2026 awards will open in November 2026.)
EBI events allow participants to gain and share perspective on business issues with industry experts, analysts, advisors, and fellow environmental industry executives.
The Environmental Industry Summit community also engages in discussions of mutual interest, and debates or develops consensus on positions or objectives on behalf of the environmental industry. EI Summit Council continues discussions on collective activity on white papers and other information activity short of direct advocacy, as well as a compilation of the history of the environmental industry.
