WorleyParsons, Day & Zimmerman form JV

Global engineering and construction firm WorleyParsons (Sydney, Australia) and Day & Zimmermann (Philadelphia, PA), a provider of industrial, defense, and workforce services to commercial and government clients, have formed a joint venture to provide integrated engineering, construction, and maintenance services to the power industry. The joint venture, called Integrated Plant Solutions, will offer its services to electric utilities, public power producers, and independent power producers, the companies said in a joint release. ““As the power industry continues to deal with ever-changing environmental regulations and requirements, plant efficiency has become more important than ever,” said Mike McMahon, Day & Zimmermann’s president of engineering and construction maintenance. The executive director of Integrated Plant Solutions will be Andy Donaldson, a vice president at WorleyParsons, while Merril Jones, a senior director of business development at Day & Zimmermann, will be the director of business development for the joint venture.
