Advanced Chemical Transport acquires Rinchem operations

Advanced Chemical Transport Inc. (ACT; Sunnyvale, CA), a provider of waste management and environmental, health, and safety services to the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and research industries, announced that it has acquired the environmental services operations of Rinchem Company, Inc., including a hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal facility (TSDF) in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and three other sites in the Southwest. “Rinchem’s operations will blend seamlessly with our current operations,” said ACT CEO Walter Singer. “Having access to a TSDF with the compliance record and operational standards of ISO quality will present great opportunities for ACT to better service its clients.” Rinchem said that the sale of its environmental operations will allow it to better focus on its chemicals management business.
