GENIVAR acquires PEI consulting and surveying firm

GENIVAR Inc. (Montreal, Que.) announced that it has acquired Delcom Engineering Ltd., a Prince Edward Island-based consulting, engineering, and land surveying firm. Delcom employs 15 people at offices in Summerside and Charlottetown. “We are very pleased to welcome Delcom within GENIVAR as it fits very well in our development strategy and strengthens our leadership in Atlantic Canada,” said Stephen Wallace, GENIVAR’s vice president in charge of the Atlantic Canada business segment. “Through this acquisition, we are reinforcing our approach of being a global player with a strong local presence.”
