Black & Veatch wins ?31 million contract from Scottish Water

In a joint venture with Morrison Construction Co. (Hammond, IN), Black & Veatch (Overland Park, KS) has received a contract valued at ?31 million (about $48 million U.S.) from Scottish Water to design and implement the initial phase of a stormwater management project serving more than 80,000 people in north and east Ayrshire in the United Kingdom. The initial element of the project is scheduled for completion in January 2013. The joint venture partners will begin the phased project execution in the area of Kilmarnock.
