Enernoc Expands to Tucson Through Utility Partnership

EnerNOC (Boston, MA) has expanded into Arizona through the establishment of a multi-year contract with Tucson Electric Power to provide demand-response energy management services. EnerNOC will use its DemandSMART application to improve energy efficiency at commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities within Tucson Electric Power’s service territory. Under the contract, EnerNOC will manage approximately 40 megawatts of the utility’s total projected peak demand of 2,500 megawatts this summer. EnerNOC also has agreements with PJM Interconnection, Idaho Power, Tennessee Valley Authority, Southern California Edison, Pacific Gas and Electric, Tampa Electric Company, Salt River Project, Public Service Company of New Mexico, and Xcel Energy.
