Environmental Industry Outlook 2021
Environmental Business Journal’s annual Environmental Industry Outlook edition presents comprehensive results of a detailed Q2 2021 Industry Snapshot Survey of environmental industry executives reporting 2020 revenue performance, expectations of the market impact of the Biden administration, and favored markets for 2021-2022 business development.
Economists forecast GDP growth of 6.5% for the 2021 recovery year and EBJ forecasts 4-5% growth in the environmental industry in 2021 and 3-4% in 2022.
Environmental Business Journal’s Q2 2021 forecast indicate that the US GDP rate of growth will exceed that of the environmental industry in 2021, but EBJ expects that for much of the decade the environmental industry growth will be two to three growth points ahead of the economy.
