The U.S. Remediation and Industrial Services Industry totaled $14.4 billion in 2019, re-set marginally in 2020, and renewed growth in 2021. Site remediation construction (back-end remedial cleanup) contributed nearly $5 billion to the Remediation and Industrial Service contracting market. However, when assessment, analytical, remedial design, closure and monitoring are included, the U.S. site remediation business was $7 billion in 2020. Front-end and back-end continue to grow as a ‘turnkey’ service but many companies continue to focus on either consulting or contracting. Details and more information are contained in this report. Figures are updated in EBI datapacks at a minimum of twice a year if not quarterly, and purchasers or subscribers can receive updated files over the course of their subscription or data access agreement.
