Description
EBJ provides data on 2018 growth rates in environmental service segments and a forecast for 2019-2020, based on a comprehensive survey of environmental industry executives. At the end of the first half of 2019, the outlook for the U.S. and the global economies is notably less optimistic than in the two previous years, at least based on EBJ’s annual Snapshot Survey. Data is presented on market driver and economic issues, as well as trends in client, service and geographic niches as industry participants provide their review of the past year and an outlook out to 2020.
Special sections: Update on the still uncertain fates of paper and plastic recycling and the solid waste segment; Political analyst Paterson takes on the Green New Deal debate and prospects for Infrastructure funding; and EBJ’s firsthand perspective on Diversity & Inclusion with voices of experience from women leaders and company D&I policies.
