ERS, nonprofit to restore coastal Louisiana

   Ecological Restoration Services, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Resource Environmental Solutions, LLC (Baton Rouge, LA), has formed an alliance with the nonprofit Restore the Earth Foundation (REF) under which ERS will grow and supply native plants and trees for REF’s restoration activities on the Louisiana coast. ERS will grow the plants at its 640-acre nursery in Point Aux Chene, Louisiana, where it is currently scaling up the production of its EKOgrown native trees. ERS and REF plan to plant the trees starting this fall. Under its programs, REF has restored more than 30,000 acres with 1.6 million native trees along the Gulf Coast.
