EBJ Mid-year Snapshot Survey SummaryEBJ's mid-year 2011 survey of Environmental Companies was conducted in August 2011. Respondents provided answers to questions pertaining to each of 2010 growth and 2011-2012 growth forecasts by client, service and geographic areas, impact of market drivers, economic trends and open-ended questions on key issues facing their company and the environmental industry. More than 100 executives responded, with 60% from environmental consulting & engineering firms, 7% from environmental equipment manufacturers and labs, and the rest distributed widely among industry segments. Approximately, 21% of the firms represented have less than $2 million in annual sales, while slightly more than 6% generate more than $1 billion in revenue annually.
